I’ve lived in East Africa for nearly 10 years and have called Kenya home for the last 6 years. I’ve fallen in love with the people, landscape and wildlife that make up this diverse country.
I love what it has taught me along with years and for the privilege of being able to live amongst people who are adapting their traditional lifestyle in order to manage the opportunities and challenges the world is presenting them to protect their land and their nation. When you’re in the Kenyan bush it’s amazing how you appreciate the little things like listening to the sounds of the African wilderness at night or sitting and quietly observing the complex natural behaviours and wildlife interactions.
