We’ve been lucky with the wild dogs being sighted daily and all 6 pups appear to be well and growing. However they’ve recently moved their pups to a new den. This previously used den site does provide us with better visibility. It is also in an area that has a slightly lower predator density at the moment, so there is less chance that pups may be killed by lions, hyenas or leopards. These pups would be killed a means to reduce competition for food.
