Take a taste of Kasbah Tamadot home with you, with our Foodie Friday recipe.
You’ll need:
- 150g onion
- 75g lentils
- 75g rice
- ½ bunch of parsley (chopped)
- 100g celery
- ½ bunch of coriander (chopped)
- 1.5 litre of water
- 3 tresh tomatoes (with the seeds removed)
- 75g chick peas
- 1 Tablespoon of tomato paste
- 30g flour
- 1 Tsp cinnamon
- ½ Tsp black pepper (powder)
- 2 tsp salt
Make it:
- Sweat off the chopped onions, chopped celery and chopped tomatoes in roughly 20g of olive oil for about 5mins
- Add the lentils and the chick peas and tomato paste cook for 5minutes
